Big Bass 3in1

★★★★☆ 4.4 Editor rating

Big Bass 3in1 is exactly what it sounds like — three little fishing-themed mini games stitched into one download. There's a casting mode where you time your tap to reel in a catch, a matching board where you clear tiles shaped like fish and tackle, and a quiet aquarium mode where you just watch your collection swim around. It all sits behind a friendly menu, and you can jump between the three without any loading fuss.

What surprised me is how well it handles being offline. I loaded it on a flight with airplane mode on and every mode worked, progress saved, nothing nagged me to reconnect. The casting mini game has a satisfying little rhythm once you learn the timing windows, and the matching board scales up nicely when you want something more brain-teasing than the fishing itself.

It's not a deep game and it doesn't pretend to be. This is the sort of thing you open for five minutes in a waiting room. The art is bright, the tapping feels good, and the three-in-one structure means you rarely get bored of any single loop before switching to another.
